I have been a Massage therapist since 2002. In that time I have created an extensive "tool box" to best serve my clients needs. Along the way I added a thorough education in medicinal herbalism and became a Reiki Master.
Massage therapy comes in many forms. If you are not sure what you are looking for please ask me for suggestions. I love to talk about my work and educating my clients. My goal is to give you the best massage for your physical, mental and emotional needs at the time of your session. While my techniques get in as deep, if not deeper, than what some would call "deep tissue massage" they are less painful as I work in gradually to let the tissues warm up and relax as I go. I can also offer a very soothing, relaxing massage if that is your preference.
Herbal consultations allow us to discuss what your goals are and helps me choose what herbs will best fit your particular needs.
Reiki is a form of energy work long revered for its subtle yet profound benefits. Please feel free to ask all the questions you have to become comfortable with my work.

What are the benefits of massage therapy?
Many people think of massage as just a way to relax muscle tissue but it is so much more. It increases both vascular and lymphatic movement which means nutrients are delivered to tissue more effectively and waste material is removed more efficiently. Scar tissue and adhesions may be softened and smoothed. Digestion and eliminations is stimulated in the process. Massage can help you relax both physically and emotionally.
Who should get a massage?
Nearly everyone! My youngest, regular client was 2 days old and my eldest was a very spry 102 year old! There are some contraindications for massage which is why I ask you to complete an intake form prior to your first session.
