This type of salve has been used for generations to assist in drawing out foreign objects that have become lodged under the skin and to assist in healing subdermal infections.  Splinters, bug stings, thorns, and boils may be drawn to the surface allowing the area to heal more quickly.
Apply to affected area, cover with a bandage or wrap to keep salve in place and avoid staining, and leave it on over night.  Reapply if necessary.
 
My version contains: Olive oil, castor oil, bees wax, plantain, yarrow, calendula, activated charcoal, bentonite clay, tea tree EO and oregano EO.  Each of these ingredients have been historical proven to help with healing process and protect from infection.
