Not that the other chakras are less important but, to me, the Heart chakra is the key to the functioning of the others.  It is the middle chakra and plays a role in connecting the lower 3 to the upper 3.  The Heart (Anahata) chakra is represented by the color green and is the center of love, kindness, compassion and relationships. It tends to contain not only those qualities of your current time and space but stores those feelings from past relationships.  
If you wish to enhance and lighten your life or feel the need to heal old emtional wounds then focusing on this chakra may be a good place to start.
